This policy explains what personal information Pelros collects when you use pelros.store, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it. It applies to this website and to orders placed through it.
Last updated: August 2026.
Who we are
Pelros is an online shop selling clothing and toys for children. Our website address is https://pelros.store.
If you have a question about this policy or about the information we hold about you, please use our contact form.
Information we collect
When you place an order
To take and fulfil an order we ask for your name, billing address, delivery address, email address and phone number, together with the details of what you ordered. We use this to process and deliver your order, to send you order confirmations and updates, and to keep the accounting records we are required to keep.
When you create an account
If you create an account we store your name, email address, saved addresses and your order history, so that you can check past orders and check out more quickly next time. You can view and edit most of this yourself under My Account.
When you contact us
Messages sent through our contact form reach us by email and include the name, email address and message you type in. We keep them so we can answer you and refer back to the conversation if you get in touch again.
When you sign up to our newsletter
Signing up to the newsletter is optional. If you do, we store your email address so we can send you news about new arrivals, offers and updates. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.
When you leave a review or a comment
If you review a product or leave a comment we store what you wrote, the name and email address you gave, your IP address and your browser user agent string. The IP address and user agent help us detect spam. An anonymised version of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture there; the Gravatar privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Your name and any profile picture are visible publicly next to your review.
When you use the wishlist or compare tools
If you are not signed in, the items you save to your wishlist or add to compare are stored in your own browser. If you are signed in, they are saved against your account so you can find them again on another device.
Automatically, when you visit
Like most websites, ours records basic technical information such as your IP address, the pages you looked at, the date and time, and the browser and device you used. This is logged by our hosting provider and is used to keep the site running, to investigate faults and to protect against abuse.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for a small number of practical jobs:
- Keeping the items in your basket while you shop and through checkout.
- Remembering your wishlist and compare selections if you are not signed in.
- Keeping you signed in to your account between pages.
- Remembering your cookie and display preferences, such as light or dark mode.
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you block them, the basket, the wishlist and the sign in process will not work properly.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We do share it with the companies that help us run the shop, and only with what they need to do their job:
- Our web host, which stores the website and its database.
- Our payment provider, which handles the payment itself at checkout. Card details are entered on the payment provider systems and are not stored on this website.
- The delivery service that carries your parcel, which receives your name, address and phone number.
- Our email and newsletter provider, if you have subscribed.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as we are required to keep accounting records. Account details are kept until you ask us to close your account. Contact form messages are kept while they are useful for supporting you. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Reviews and comments stay published until you or we remove them.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct anything that is wrong, to delete it, or to send it to you in a portable form. You can object to certain uses of it, and you can withdraw consent at any time where we relied on consent, for example for the newsletter.
To make any of these requests, contact us through the contact form. We may need to check who you are before we act on a request. Please note that we cannot delete information we are legally required to retain, such as completed order records.
Children
We sell products for children, but this website is intended to be used by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, please contact us and we will remove them.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including restricting who can access the shop administration. No website can promise perfect security, but if a breach ever affected your personal information we would tell you and the relevant authority where we are required to.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Please check back from time to time.
